All Stratton Lummis wines get even better with age. Don't be afraid to cellar them. Aged over 24 months in French Oak. Rich dense concentrated flavors, heavy with chocolate and black currants. Slight suggestion of tobacco and lavender.
From the heart of Napa Valley comes a Cabernet Sauvignon that tastes and smells like currants and rich chocolates. Stratton Lummis is dedicated to Cabernet Sauvignon from the top vineyard estates in Oakville and Rutherford.
Stratton Lummis make this unique blend from two of Napa Valley’s best appellations - Oakville and Rutherford - and from Napa’s two best grapes - Cabernet Sauvignon and Petite Verdot.
Stratton Lummis 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon is dark colored, full bodied, elegant, with textural soft tannins and layers of dark fruit, cassis and mocha. Our wines are ready upon release but drinkable for years to come. Stratton Lummis wines are often described as “wonderful finesse wines.” Our 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon marks our tenth straight vintage. One taste will prove that we are a terrific value. 2009 was a cool, longer than normal vintage that resulted in wonderful flavor and color development.
