Hall is delighted to release the 2009 Hall Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. This vintage is brimming with aromas of cassis and blackberry pie and expresses aromas of black fruit, white chocolate and toasted almonds. Round and soft on the palate, opulent flavors of dark bing cherry, jam, and caramel lead to a velvety finish.
Displaying deep, dark garnet color and lovely aromas of marion berry, bramble, chocolate plum and all-spice; the palate is lush and concentrated with boysenberry, cassis, anise and semisweet chocolate. Rewarding now, this wine will continue to evolve and delight for 5-10 years.
HALL Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is a blend of special lots from each of our five estate vineyards along with esteemed fruit from our premiere Napa Valley vineyard partners. Our focus, from vine to glass, is to deliver a dense, supple Cabernet Sauvignon that consistently over-delivers. As we strive to achieve this, vintage after vintage, we uphold rigorous organic small-vine farming practices in each of our vineyards and meticulous time-honored techniques in our state-of-the-art winemaking facilities. Our commitment must be unparalleled and our standards unrelenting at each and every phase throughout the growing season and winemaking process.
With its deep purple hue, the HALL Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon drives complex aromas of jammy blackberry puree, rich cassis, Asian Five-Spice and dark chocolate from the glass. The fleshy texture is both dense and opulent, the perfect platform for brawny black and briar fruit flavors that persist through the velvety, enduring finish. This wine will continue to gain complexity and grace for 5-10 years.
HALL’s estate vineyards stretch from ancient riverbeds on the valley floor to sun-drenched hilltops, encompassing more than five hundred acres of classic Bordeaux varietals: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Sauvignon Blanc.
In our pursuit to craft the finest Bordeaux varietals possible, each HALL estate vineyard was strategically chosen for its elevation, micro-climates and soil type. Director of Vineyards, Don Munk, and his viticulture team, employ small-vine farming to produce low-yield, highly concentrated fruit. Each vineyard block is managed uniquely – farming practices are adjusted according to varietal, terroir, clone, rootstock, and row orientation. We farm for the highest quality fruit and employ organic practices to ensure vineyard health and optimum fruit character.
