Beautifully crafted, dense and detailed, with vivid currant, blackberry, exotic spices and pretty oak seasoning all tightly wound and sharply focused, finishing with a long, rich, concentrated aftertaste and fine-grained tannins. Remarkably graceful and elegant. Best from 2005 through 2014. 1,013 cases made.
A full-bodied wine with ripe aromas of mocha, black cherry, cola, anise, dusty plums, dried figs and a hint of toasted pecans. The palate echoes the nose, adding a hint of earth with deeper notes of caramel and vanilla. Textured and concentrated with sweet and juicy fruit notes on the lingering finish. Sustainable
Cabernet Sauvignon was harvested from four parcels in Napa Valley: Mount Veeder, the Oakville Bench (which sits at the peak of Mount Veeder), the stony loam soils just north of Saint Helena, and from Spring Mountain District, just west of Saint Helena. Each parcel was vinified separately for the first six months in barrel, blended and aged in barrel for 13 months.
