Medium-bodied with a pristine lemon hue this youthfulwine offers delicate scents of citrus, limestone, candle wax, and toasted brioche. The palate reveals notes of almond kernels,soft pineapple, roasted cashew and white peach. Finishes with a crisp spine of razor like acidity.
The Semillon (predominantly Madeira Clone) was sourced from Kalimna, Vine Vale, Rowland Flat and Koonunga Hill. Thevineyards were hand-picked and whole bunches were gently pressed to individual vats where they were left to settle. After 24hours the younger blocks were racked to tank and the older parcels were transferred to six year old French barriques for a longcool fermentation. The components were later assembled and bottled.
