Technical Notes From vineyards located in Monti in Chianti (SI) with south and southwest facing slopes. The 20-30 years old vines are planted at an elevation of 820-948 feet on clay and limestone rock. Produced with hand-picked, certified organically grown Sangioveto grapes. Fermented with wild yeast and matured a minimum of 4 years in sealed oak casks and barriques. It is named "Partridge eye” because of it’s garnet color with an amber edge.
