High-toned nose with bright green fruit and mineral notes. A classy, finely textured palate with subtle chalky minerality and a dry, well-balanced finish. Unusually distinguished white Burgundy for its price point.
Les Coeres is truly the finest cru in the village, south-facing at the top of the slope with mineral rich clay soils. A lengthy elevage is required, again in “demi-mui”, 10% new, and the elevage is long since the malolactic fermentation proceeds very slowly.
