Jermann's Vinnae is a blend of 80% Ribolla Gialla, 10% Tocai Fruilano, and 10% Riesling that was partially aged for six months in Slavonian oak barrels to allow for the development of richness and flavor complexity. It offers juicy pear, melon, and orchard citrus aromas and flavors, with subtle mineral and spice undertones. The palate is full and round; Ribolla's naturally high acidity is fleshed out nicely by fruit intensity of equal parts Tocai and Riesling for a less racy, more generous offering. If you are looking for a refreshing and food-friendly alternative to Chadonnay that pairs well with seafood and fish dishes.
90 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate "The 2010 Vinnae Servus Cella is quite pretty in this vintage. A clean vein of minerality frames a core of expressive apricots, peaches, mint and flowers. I especially like the lift and brightness of the finish. This is a terrific effort from Jermann."
