Founded in 1648 in the village of Wörrstadt, Louis Guntrum Estate today is run and operated by Louis Konstantin Guntrum, 11th generation of the Louis Guntrum family in the wine business. Louis Guntrum today is located in Nierstein, one of the most famous wine growing villages in Germany. Louis Guntrum's production focus is on Riesling, but other grape varieties are grown as well, e.g. Gewürztraminer, Silvaner, Weißburgunder (Pinot Blanc), Grauburgunder (Pinot Gris), Spätburgunder (Pinot Noir) and others.
