Red cherry and kirsch aromas. Fun and fruity on the palate, yet well structured, with open ripe red berry and cherry flavors, racy acidity, and very soft tannins.
Morgon Charmes is regarded as one of the top terroirs of the Beaujolais region. This is a a large varied terrain with many microclimates. The soils where JJ Vincent sources from are a mixture of light sand, granite stones and limestone. Vines here average 30+ years of age. The Morgon Charmes is made with 100% Gamay vinified entirely in temperature controlled stainless steel and then transferred to large neutral oak casks for a short aging.
