Tasting Notes Deep purple in color, with aromas of violets, black berries and mocha notes. Ripe black currants and cassis arecomplimented by chewy tannins and delicate oak nuances.
Technical Notes Grapes from 80+ year old vines were fermented in one and two ton open-top fermentors with daily punch downs forseveral days and then basket pressed into French and American oak (25% new where it aged for 14-16 months.
