Dark berry fruits, mocha, vanilla, cedar and coffee with hints of dried herbs ripe, spicy with hints of vanilla, dark chocolate and spicy licorice on the finish. Neatly balanced with natural acidity and a persistent finish.
Fruit for this wine comes from the Currency Creek and McLaren Vale regions on the Fleurieu Peninsula. The vines are planted in the shallow red earth over limestone soils of the Mount Benson and Padthaway regions. Fermented in stainless steel and aged in a combination of neutral American oak (50%) and stainless steel (50%).
