Tasting Notes The deep purplish red color offers hints of aromas and flavors to come – resonant and attractive notes of blueberries and blackberries are touched by hints of lavender, sweet baking spices and toasty oak. Fine-grained tannins lend texture and juicy acidity keeps it all in balance.
Technical Notes The best estate fruit from vines planted in the 1990s within the Max V vineyards in the Aconcagua Valley was hand-picked, sorted and crushed into stainless steel tanks for fermentation. After 15-30 days of post-fermentation maceration, the wine aged for 12 months in French (65%) and American (35%) and oak barrels of which 30% were new.
