Baron Herzog Jeunesse Cabernet Sauvignon

Jeunesse" is French for "youthfulness", and Baron Herzog "Jeunesse" Cabernet Sauvignon is a pure expression of the punchy, bright fruit flavors that define young Cabernet Sauvignon. Across the "Jeunesse" line, winemaker Joe Hurliman crafts easy-drinking wines for everyday consumption that highlight the defining characteristics of each varietal. "Jeunesse" Cabernet Sauvignon shows currant and black cherry with a soft suggestion of violet on the finish. With a very faint sweetness, this is best served slightly chilled and enjoyed outside on a carefree summer evening.

Among the enchanting secrets that often escape aficionados of Cabernet Sauvignon are the youthful nuances of character that are displayed during the wine's infancy. These characteristics include a beautiful purple color, a soft texture, a perceived sweetness on one's palate, with fresh berry, cherry and floral aromas. In an effort to produce the Jeunesse, a wine that exhibits this exceptional character, ripe grapes were cold fermented in exclusively stainless steel tanks. Hence, you will enjoy a wine that is pointedly 'jeunesse' - which is French for youthful, flavorful and fun. You can enjoy it slightly chilled or at room temperature.
