Sambuca is an old Italian favourite, traditionally served flaming with three coffee beans floating on top. In the past few years its popularity has grown out of Italian restaurants to become the shooter of choice in style bars and clubs around the country. Now Antica have updated the classic liquorice lover's liquor to bring out three spectacular new flavours - Vanilla, Coffee and Raspberry. Developed in the Sambuca heartland north of Venice, the flavours have been delicately blended using natural ingredients to enhance the natural anisette taste.
Antica Black has the same traditional but more pronounced and fragrant anise aroma with an added licorice perfume leading to luxuriously rich, silky, sweet flavors with herbal notes on the palate.
Sambuca is traditionally served on its own as a liqueur, with ice or in coffee. To appreciate Antica in its purest form, pour an inch of Sambuca in a snifter and garnish with three espresso beans.
