A dark ruby color, the wine offers aromas of blackberry and cassis, with hints of sweet vanilla. On the palate, rich and elegant fruit forward flavors integrate nicely with nuances of toasty oak.
(65% Cabernet Sauvignon/15% Sangiovese/13% Merlot/3% Petite Sirah/2% Syrah/2% Viognier). The Cabernet Sauvignon was harvested from the Beckstoffer To Kalon vineyard, the estate’s Cloudy’s Vineyard and the Georges III vineyard. The remainder of the fruit was harvested from 18 different parcels situated throughout Napa Valley. The wine aged for 22 months in new French oak barrels and another 10 months in bottle.
