Trivento Malbec is one of the well-known wines of Trivento winery of vintage. Rated ‘Very Good+ (91 points), this wine has been critically acclaimed to be of excellent value. The 2008 Golden Reserve Malbec has spent 12 months in French oak. Mouth-filling, dense, and structured, this lengthy, succulent effort has some tannin to resolve. This very dark colored Malbec opens with a fragrant blueberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced, and rich. The flavor profile is an extended boysenberry with notes of mint and a hint of blackberry. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins are nicely prolonged.
A fruity Malbec from Argentina, not as heavy in body as some, therefore, perfect for drinking on its own or with food.
Vibrant red, with some violet notes, this expression of Malbec offers delicate aroma of ripe red fruit, plum jam and cherries. On the palate it has intense flavours of red and dark fruits, vanilla, with some spicy, leather notes. Rounded and sweet tannins, with a long, persistent finish.
