Perfumed aromas of red fruits and florals show through on the nose with complexity added by earthy tones. The palate is medium bodied in weight and shows off all the strawberry and gamey flavours that are expected of a Nebbilo from Piedmont. Chalky tannins and a structured acid line create balance and finish the wine perfectly.
Deep ruby red with violet highlights.
Vines are guyot trained with plant density at 4,200 plants/ha. Harvest takes place in the first ten days of October. The wine is traditionally vinified with a 7-8 day floating cap fermentation in temperature controlled (82◦F) stainless steel tanks.
Ideal with flavorful pasta dishes, meats and medium-aged cheeses.
