A very approachable, classic Sancerre: zesty with a hint of grass as well as white fruit on the nose. Crisp on the palate, with pronounced but well-balanced acidity.

A crisp, racy Sauvignon Blanc with pure fruit and herb varietal aromas, this wine shows clean, intense citrus, apple and mineral flavors finishing with a tangy, high-toned, cleanly balanced acidity.

Michel Redde purchases must and grapes from the production of numerous growers in Sancerre which he vinifies at his estate of La Moynerie in Pouilly-sur-Loire. A gentle pressing of the fruit is followed by a temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks to preserve the freshness of the fruit. The wine is lent depth and complexity by contact with the fine lees until bottling takes place.
