Notes of red berries, dark chocolate, orange zest, and black pepper are touched by hints of vanilla and toasty oak. Round and sweet tannins anchor the long finish.
(81% Merlot/19% a blend of Petite Sirah, Petit Verdot and other red wine grapes). The Merlot was harvested from coastal regions throughout California and each parcel was vinified separately. Fermented in stainless steel, a portion of the blend was aged in oak barrels for complexity.
