At $45 a bottle its a bit out of my reach, have not won the lottery yet.
This was $40/bottle in the early 90's... It's a decent buy
This is a great cab especially for a beginner, not overwhelming. It is balanced with a long smooth luscious finish! Cabs are new for me and this is my favorite so far. Yes it costs more than $45 a bottle but the quality is what you are purchasing; great for special occasions, with a meal, or just to sip.
In 1972, Tom and Sally Jordan, a young couple from Colorado who shared an unbridled enthusiasm for French food and wine, followed their hearts to California’s wine country and established Jordan Vineyard & Winery. For more than a decade prior, they drank virtually only French wines, enjoyed French food that Sally diligently learned to cook, and traveled throughout France, wining and dining their way through every region. The two knew a winery would one day be in their future, but ironically never seriously considered starting one in France. Then one night while enjoying their first glass of famed Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon in San Francisco, they had an aha moment: They could realize their very French vision in Northern California.
