There are many different brands of Rompope produced in Mexico; Santa Clara is by far #1. They use all natural ingredients unlike most of the other brands of Rompope. Rompope is a traditional liqueur from Mexico made with fresh cream, sugar and eggs. It is consumed primarily straight but is also used in many Mexican Holiday desserts and pastries.

Where oh where did I first taste this?

I purchased this out of blind curiosity. How pleasantly surprised was I to find that once upon a time I'd tasted either this or something so very close to it. Is it tasty? Yes. Do I like it? Yes. Will I buy it again? More than likely.

Still Top Notch

This is a wonderful milky liquor from Mexico (originally made by nuns, now produced industrially). It has rum in it and is a bit like a light eggnog. It does not require refrigeration and its perfect for sipping on a cold afternoon. My grandmother loved it and always had it ready for guests. The quality has not changed one bit since her time and I was very happy to find it and share it with my family!
