This Valpolicella is made using the famed Ripasso method, a technique of refermenting the wine on fresh Amarone skins delivering a complex, multi-layered texture and flavor to the wine. Deep ruby red in color with notes of black pepper and spice, this wine is velvety and exceptionally well balanced with black-cherry flavors.
Classic Bolla Valpolicella: An appealing bouquet and flavor characteristic of berries, bit-ter almonds, plums, raisins, spicy black cherry, and tea. The taste is dry, velvety, medi-um-bodied, very fruity, and well-balanced.
This sumptuous wine has flavors of berries, cherries and almonds, enhanced with subtle oak, vanilla and spice complexity from aging in new oak casks. This wine pairs well with rich pastas, grilled red meats, salmon, and soft cheeses.
