A unique blend of Grenache Blanc (45%), Clairette (30%), Bourboulenc (20%) and barrel fermented Roussanne (5%). The vines are planted on clay soils formed from the decomposition of limestone and on soils of a sandy texture. The Grenache Blanc, Bourboulenc and Clairette were fermented in stainless steel and matured on its lees for four months. The Roussanne was fermented and matured in the barrel prior to blending. Only 5% of Chateauneuf is devoted to white grapes and Vieux Lazaret is the second largest producer of these fine wines.
