Presents characteristic Merlot flavors of cassis and minerals with a lovely violet and slight hint of earth on the concentrated and long finish. Year after year it has been referred to as the “Le Pin of Tuscany” by Wine Spectator.
100% estate Merlot from low-yielding vines. The must was macerated and fermented on its skins for 14 days in glass lined concrete vats with frequent pump overs. The wine aged for 18 months in French oak barriques.
