A focused red that presents aromas of violets, dried oregano and thyme and cherry which lead to flavors of sweet red fruits, toasted spices and notes of earth and dried herbs. Medium-firm tannins integrate with hints of cigar box and oak on the long, velvety finish.
(90% Cabernet Sauvignon/10% Cabernet Franc). 100% single vineyard, estate fruit sourced from a parcel of 12 year old vines grown on red loamy soil over limestone. After fermentation the wine macerated on its skins for upwards of five weeks and matured for 14 months in French (80%) and American (20%) oak barrels of which 60% was neutral and 40% new oak.
