This vineyard is owned by the Sangiacomo family, and is farmed by brothers Michael and Steve Sangiacomo – the third generation of this highly respected winegrowing family. The fruit was sourced from three blocks, Green Acres, Vella Block and Roberts Road. The Robert Road parcel is a dry creek bed composed of gravel and alluvial soils that was planted in 1998 with old Wente Chardonnay clones. Native fermentation in French oak and aging for ten months on its lees with early stirring.
