The wine has an attractive brilliant red colour, intense and deep, with hints of violet. Intense aroma reminscent of red and black cherries and a subtle touch of violets. The wine is mouth filling, concentrated, fresh and elegant, with a striking natural acidity, which gives it an excellent cellaring potential.

The Single Vineyard collection is produced from small parcels in limited quantities in the finest vintages. They are exemplary representations of Chile’s most unique terroirs. Alto de Piedras is located 334 meters above sea level with eastern and western exposures in the Maipo Valley consisting of alluvial soil with a high content of rock, clay, silt, and sand, hence the name. On the nose, there are generous aromas of fresh red fruits and spices with herbaceous undertones. Concentrated flavors and ripe, well-integrated tannins coat the palate. This single vineyard Carmenere has a long, elegant finish following 14 months of aging in large oak barrels known as foudres.
An ideal accompaniment to wild boar, venison, lamb and red meats with heavy sauces.
