Tasting Notes The deep purplish red color offers hints of aromas and flavors to come – deep, resonant and attractive notes of blueberries, blackberries touched by hints of lavender, sweet baking spices and toasty oak. Fine-grained tannins lend texture which juicy acidity keeps it all in balance.
Technical Notes Estate-grown, hand-picked grapes were sorted and crushed into stainless steel tanks for fermentation. After 15-30 days of post-fermentation maceration, the wine aged for 12 months in French (65%) and American (35%) oak barrels, of which 30% were new.
