The 2009 Reserve Tapestry is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Petit Verdot and Malbec. Dark red fruit, flowers, licorice are some of the notes that emerge from this sleek, beautifully balanced red. As good as this is, it doesn’t have the personality of the estate’s Cabernets. Still, I like the deep, radiant, fleshy finish. Anticipated maturity: 2011-2017. ”
I got this at $37. a bottle here & I know it sells for much more elsewhere, good buy at this price. The wine has what I call that liquid velvet feel when you hold it in your mouth and than gently swallow. Notes of fruit along with a sort of oaky finish, it can only get better with time but hard not to drink right now.
