Bouquet - Persistent aromas of ripe fruit, clove and cocoa, with leather and cedar notes.
Taste - Medium-bodied, velvety and smooth, with supple tannins and a seductive finish.
Grapes were de-stemmed and lightly crushed before undergoingfermentation in stainless steel tanks. A maceration period of 12 daysfollowed. The resulting wine was aged nearly two years in American oakbarrels and refined in the bottle an additional three years prior to release.
