Vineyards:Location: different vineyards in the Collio areaAltitude: 45 to100 m. above sea levelExposure: North-west, south-west and southSoil: The clayey soil of the Collio DOC area results from the disintegration of the stratified marl and sandstone in the subsoil. Vinification and Ageing:Manual harvest in 18-kilos cases.The grapes are destemmed and go through a light, cold maceration. Alcohol fermentation without skin contact in stainless steel tanks for approx. 10 days at a controlled temperature. The wine rests on the lees though the winter, then is bottled the following spring.
