The Seeker Malbec 2011 750ml

The Seeker Malbec

Scents of fresh red fruit. Smooth and robust, with juicy, ripe black cherry flavors and a lingering, spicy finish. Perfectly matched to cured or grilled meats, game, Cajun and Indian-style foods, and tinkering with creations...never mind the crash. We sought our Malbec from high in the foothills of the Andes Mountains in Mendoza, Argentina, where grapes were hand-picked and sorted at perfect ripeness. Grapes become wine in stainless steel tanks, then the wine matures in French oak barrels for one year. Low carbon footprint: special lightweight glass, sustainable farming, winery recycling program, local sustainable printer.

Aromas of fresh red fruit and spice dominate. On the palate, this wine is smooth and robust, with juicy, ripe black cherry flavors culminating in a lingering, spicy finish.

Esteban Colombo created works of art. In his workman's hands, metal became machine, and blossomed into masterpiece. His were magnificent flying machines unparalleled the world through, based on Mother Nature's simple perfection. Buyers traveled from far and wide, arriving at his home lab in the foothills of the Andes Mountains where he crafted and tested and crashed each model. Some say Colombo was an obsessive recluse, shut away from the world that was and dreaming of a world that could never be. And to that we say, Indeed, he was. And a truly great one.

Perfectly matched to cured or grilled meats, game, Cajun and Indian-style foods and tinkering with creations . . . never mind the crash.
