Aromas of sweet raspberry and violet merge with notes of pepper, clove and tobacco. Lush and ripe flavors of currant and plum are nicely integrated with elements of vanilla, cedar and nutmeg.
(82% Cabernet Sauvignon/15% Syrah/3% Merlot). The fruit was cold soaked and macerated for an extended period of 23-32 days with daily pump overs. Each varietal was aged separately in French and American oak for 15 months and racked once every six months.
