Aromas of ripe black currant and dark plum are followed by hints of licorice, cedar and a touch of spice. Medium- to full-body, the palate delivers generous flavors of ripe blackcurrant along with some dark mulberry and a touch of licorice followed by fine grained integrated tannins on the finish.
Wine Maker Notes
Our sub region here in Marananga is perfectly suited for producing top quality, varietal, Cabernet Sauvignon that expresses dark fruit, cassis and crushed dried herb notes. The palate delivers a wine of medium weight with fully ripened dark fruits following fine intergrated tannins. The wine finishes fresh and lively, a variety I see much more promise with from Marananga. Enjoy!
