Forty percent of the final blend was aged in barrel. The wine offers bright and lively acidity along with notes of green pear, apple and honeydew melon.
(97% Chardonnay/3% Flora). Chardonnay was sourced from the Hendry Vineyard – a parcel located in bench lands west downtown Napa. Flora is a varietal hybrid of Semillon and Gewurztraminer. The fruit was fermented in stainless steel and blended with a small percentage of wine (5%) from the previous vintage that had been aged sur lie.
