Aromas of dried cherries, dried rose petals and sandalwood giving way to juicy black fruits. Structured with black raspberries and cassis coupled with dark, musky and woody tones to produce a long and memorable finish.
Produced from estate grown Pinot Noir clones, including Dijon clones 113, 114 and 115. A cool maceration preceded the opentop, fermentation for a total of 25 days of skin contact with daily punch downs. The wine was then gravity fed directly to barrels for 8 months. Aged 14 months in French oak (50% new).
