Spicy blue and black fruits, notes of licorice and ground black pepper, hints of violets and black olives tapenade. On the palate, ripe but not jammy berry fruit overlaid with spice and minerality, subtle notes of vanilla and cedar wood.
Superb fruity flavors, deep shade and a medium-full body.
This wine is produced from the Syrah Vineyards planted near Alma and Ben Zimra Vineyard in the Upper Galilee. A small amount of Syrah grapes from Hulda, were added together with some Merlot from the Golan Heights. The fully mature grapes which were picked, after aging in oak casks, half of which were new, for a period of 14 months, make this a concentrated wine. Additional aging in the bottle will make the wine smooth and complex.
