Redbreast Riesling is medium-sweet, bursting with fruit flavors ranging from lemon and green apples to ripe apricot. It is named after the famous Mosel region, which is known to produce some of the world’s most stunning Rieslings.
Wine Maker Notes
The grapes come from steep hillside vineyards in Mosel, which has a predominance of blue slate terroir, which gives the wine its fine acidity. The grapes were picked in mid- October. After pressing, the juice was fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, with cold fermentation taking place over two-to-three weeks.
Served lightly chilled, this Riesling is an excellent choice to complement salads, seafood and poultry dishes.
