A polished red that displays vibrant cherry, blackberry and floral notes. The firm tannins are balanced and provide structure to support the fruit and add nice grip to the finish.
(33% Cabernet Franc/32% Syrah/30% Merlot/5% Petit Verdot). Named in homage to the postimpressionist artist, Eugenio Cecconi who was a close family friend, the destemmed estate grapes were fermented for 21 days in stainless steel tanks (90%) for 21 days and the reminder underwent malolactic fermentation in barriques. Fifty percent of the wine was aged for four months in new and 2-year-old French oak barriques; after blending, the wine was aged for another three months before release.
