The wine offers aromas of savory herbs, underbrush and spice. The richly textured palate is balanced by structured acidity and bright fruit flavors on the long finish.
The soils at Alloro Vineyard are a regional mix called Laurelwood – decomposed volcanic material with ancient sedimentary topsoil. The wine is named after Oldsville Road in McMinnville, Oregon where Kathy made her first 15 vintages of Pinot Noir. The grapes were destemmed, fermented in small open-top vats and aged in French oak.
