In 1994 we planted Pinot Noir, agreeing with many that this cool climate grape has a future here in the Finger Lakes. Since then, we have added several new Dijon clones, and actually pulled out some of the lesser clones. This vintage is primarily from Dijon clones, and is showing the true potential of this variety.
This wine starts in the vineyard, with several clones providing additional weight and complexity. Round cherry flavors, smoky undertones and a long, silky finish.
