A bright ruby red wine with an emphasis on fresh redcurrant, raspberry and sour cherry fruit flavours. Dry and moderately savoury, with subtle oak influence, and medium weight and tannins.
Grapes are harvested by hand. Fermentation and maceration take place in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature for 10-12 days. The wine is refined for 8 months, 40% in second-use American oak barriques and the remainder in vat.
Enjoy with pastas in red sauces, salmon and pork dishes.
