Marietta Cellars Old Vine Red Lot Number 59 750ml

Marietta Cellars Old Vine Red Lot Number 59

Lot 59 is the latest release of Old V ine Red, our trademark blend that was first released 34 years ago in the early days of Marietta. Lot 59 carries on the tradition of consistency and quality with loads of ripe berries on the nose followed by a briery note reminiscent of blackberry leaf. The color is deep ruby , and the mouthfeel is full, rich and supple. The wine gives way to palate coating tannins that provide a textured, soft finish.

Bright, ripe notes of berries and red florals meet pronounced flavors of sweet baking spices, red and black fruits and hints of earth. Medium-firm tannins provide structure and balanced acidity lends lift to the long finish.

Marietta’s version of a traditional field blend, the fruit for this Zinfandel based blend was harvested from vineyards in Sonoma and Mendocino.
