The result is a light strawberry colored wine that displays attractive notes of Rainier cherry, watermelon and raspberries that are matched by soft tannins and crisp acidity.
Grapes sourced from three different vineyards in the Santa Lucia Highlands were vinified using the saignee method by winemaker Jeff Pisoni. The wine was fermented in two different vessels – neutral oak for texture and stainless steel for aromatics.
