Wine Maker Notes
Fruit for this classic Chardonnay is sourced from our own estate vineyards and those of more than 100 contract growers throughout California’s North Coast appellation. Comprising six counties north of San Francisco (Napa, Sonoma, Mendocino, Lake, Marin, and Solano), the expansive North Coast is home to some of the finest vineyards in California.
We farm almost 800 acres in the vibrantly diverse wine regions of Sonoma County and Coastal California, working closely with trusted local growers to build long-lasting relationships. By sharing our decades of boutique winemaking knowledge, technology and resources with each of these growers, we ensure the integrity and effortless sophistication of every wine we create.
After traveling France’s wine regions, founder Frank Woods returned home inspired to marry the elegant French style of winemaking with his vibrant California fruit. Decades later, we continue to embrace his artisanal winemaking philosophy, earning a devoted following among those who love refined, approachable wines.
This Chardonnay is perfect for sipping alone or with fish, chicken or lighter pasta dishes. Enjoy lightly chilled - store in a cool place, then place in the refrigerator about a hour before serving.
