Wine Maker Notes
Derived from the Italian word prezioso, meaning “precious,” Precios pays homage to the cherished Pinot Nero varietal. Following fermentation in stainless steel tanks, half of the wine is aged in stainless steel and the remaining half is aged in French oak barriques. This dry red offers sweet, fruity aromas and is rich on the palate, with sweet tannins on the finish. Pair Niedermayr Pinot Nero Precios with red meat, game, and hard cheeses.
