This was distilled at the Glengoyne distillery in December of 1996. It was aged for 13 years in a single refill hogshead before bottling in January of 2010. A release of 311 bottles from the Old Malt Cask range. Nose: Zinging spices, pineapple and crème caramel. Biscuity. Palate: A rich, spicy palate with notes of caramel and cocoa butter, hints of orange blossom and malt. Finish: Long and sweet, slightly herbal and very malty.
