Gaba do Xil is a structure, and rich wine that offers balanced notes of pretty florals and stone fruit.
In 2004 Telmo decided to start a new project in Valdeorras a little known area of Galicia. The purpose was to create a very serious white wine from the region’s native Godello grape. The vineyard he eventually purchased was a wild, old parcel planted on old Roman terraces that abuts the Sil River. The wine is fermented in stainless steel with native and cultured yeast.
