We’ve been producing our Russian River Chardonnay from the same vineyard since 1993. Located in the heart of the Russian River Valley, this East Side Road vineyard consistently delivers delicious fruit with signature qualities of this appellation: floral, mineral, lime scents with good underlying acidity. Our winemaking philosophy remains the same: less intervention is better in dealing with as fragile a variety as chardonnay. Practices such as barrel fermentation, sur-lie aging, lees stirring, encouraging the malolactic fermentation, and the use of some new oak are employed.
Pair with fillet of Salmon, roast chicken, chilled cracked crab and pasta in lightly creamed sauces.
