Matured for 21 months in French oak (54% new), the wine offers aromas of black and Bing cherry with notes of anise and vanilla bean. Silky and inviting flavors of cocoa and dark red fruit are supported by refined tannins and earthy minerality.
(80% Cabernet Sauvignon/11% Merlot/5% Cabernet Franc/4% Petit Verdot). Fruit sourced from the estate’s Twin Peaks Ranch and Poetry Vineyard was cold soaked for approximately five days. During fermentation, the wine received regular delestage, pump overs and punch downs after which it was macerated for 3-4 weeks.
